2016 (Junior): Started 48 games for the Tars on the year, all at first base… finished second on the team with a .391 batting average, hitting 15 doubles, a triple, and a homerun… scored 42 runs while driving in 36… successful on 8-9 stolen base attempts and held a .988 fielding percentage… went 2-3 in a 5-3 win against No. 2 Tampa on May 13, including the game winning RBI in the seventh inning… named a CoSIDA Academic All-District performer
2015 (Sophomore): In his second season at Rollins, Purcell started 10 games at first base while appearing in 29 during the year...Purcell batted .261 with 12 hits and three doubles in 46 at-bats...Defensively, Purcell was sound as he committed just one error and had a fielding percentage of .992 with over 112 put outs...Fall Athletic Director's Honor Roll....Spring Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
2014 (Freshman): Appeared in 35 games for the Tars in his first season, including 28 starts…batted .260 as he became the starting first baseman mid-way through the season…notched a career-best three hits in his final game of 2014 against Nova Southeastern (5/3)…in the opening games against NSU (5/2), went 1-for-4 with a career-high two runs and one stolen base…ended the season on a two-game hit streak but held an eight-game hit streak earlier in the season…recorded six multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games…also ended the season with a three-game reached base streak, holding an eight-game reached base streak earlier in the year…concluded the year with 26 hits, 10 runs scored, 13 RBI, 10 walks and two stolen bases with a .327 on base percentage...Fall Athletic Director's Honor Roll...SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll...Spring Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
