WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 18, 2017) – Rollins volleyball head coach Mika Robinson has announced the addition of five newcomers to the Fall 2017 roster.  Erin Burke (Wayne, Ill.), Haley Driscoll (Littleton, Colo.), Sarah Konemann (Lake Wales, Fla.), Christina McAlpin (Pittsford, N.Y.), and Alondra Rodriguez (Spring Hill, Fla.) will join the roster as true freshmen for the Tars’ 2017 campaign.

“We are very excited to have these five tremendous student-athletes join us next fall. All five of them bring skill sets that will compliment our current team, and they bring the type of relentless, team first attitude that is so important to our program. The future is bright for Rollins volleyball.”

A solid mix of talent hailing from Illinois, Colorado, New York, as well as two local products from Florida, this season’s incoming class will provide the team with depth as well as fill vital roles in all areas of the court.

She is extremely positive, hard working, and brings an incredible amount of joy to the court. She has played outside hitter during her prep career but will be transitioning into the middle in our program.”

She has an exuberant personality, will bring a ton of energy to the court, and she has experience playing at a very high level. The combination of her athleticism, skills, and personality will give her the ability to compete for playing time immediately.”

Her ball control and offense will make us better immediately, adding depth and competitiveness to a strong group of pin hitters. In addition, her drive and leadership skills will make a tremendous impact on our program over the next four years.”
