RIDGEFIELD, Conn. (March 22, 2012) - The Rollins men's lacrosse team suffered another defeat at the hands of fourth-ranked Merrimack, 14-6, Wednesday evening. The loss drops the Tars to 3-8 on the season, while Warriors move to 3-0.

The Tars struggled in the first two periods only scoring one goal and allowing seven. The third and fourth quarters saw the Tars find the back of the net more, but it was not enough to overcome the high powered offense of the Warriors.

Rollins had six different players score goals with Stephen DeFlumeri, Peter Harvey, Taylor White, Chuck Magid, Jack Dever and Oliver Moore finding the back of the net.

Andrew Sheerin was busy in net, racking up 13 saves on the evening and was able to keep the Tars in the game.

Rollins will take on No.2 LeMoyne on Sunday, March 25 at 11 a.m.
