WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 11, 2012) - The Rollins baseball team fell 7-4 to the Flagler Saints Wednesday evening in non-conference action at Alfond Stadium.  The Tars fall to 21-12 on the season while Flagler improves to 23-16.

Brian Lattanzi led all hitters with three hits while Nick Adams, Anthony Figliolia and Kevin Mager chipped in with two hits each.  Lattanzi also tied his career-high of three runs-batted-in.

Rollins was slow to get on the board as they first pushed a run across the plate in the bottom of the fourth with Flagler leading 2-0.

Figliolia led off the fourth with a base knock through the right side and then moved to second on a grounder to second.  The third baseman then cut the deficit in half scoring from second on a shot up the middle from Lattanzi.

In the bottom of the seventh, Rollins took their first lead of the game on a bases loaded walk.  Adams, who reached on the first of four walks of the inning, scored on a Lattanzi walk.

The Saints regained their lead in the following frame as they plated three runs in the eighth for a two-run lead, 6-4.  Flagler scored one run on a fielding error by Rollins and then scored another two on a two-out double.  Flagler capped off their scoring in the ninth on a RBI single by Nate Fudala as he plated Charlie Stewart.

Southpaw Jack Murray (1-2) was charged with the loss going 1.1 innings on the bump, allowing two runs on one hit while fanning two Saints.  Murray's counterpart, Tyler Ward (2-0) picked up his second win of the season tossing 0.1 inning.  Max Rusch also picked up his seventh save of the season in two innings of work.

Rollins returns to Sunshine State Conference action as they head to Miami Shores for a three-game set against the Barry Buccaneers on Friday, April 13.  First pitch is slated for 6 p.m.  Fans can catch all the action live on the Tars Sports Network at
