Steve Frew will serve as an assistant coach for a 17th season in 2013. His primary coaching duties include hitting instruction, outfield play, scouting, and recruiting. Additionally, he has served as the assistant director of Michelle Frew’s summer fastpitch camps and clinics for more than a decade. Frew is the National Activations Program Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Training for Community Education Partners based out of Nashville, Tenn.

An active sports enthusiast, he has served as the official scorer for Rollins College basketball for eight seasons and has done statistical work for the Orlando Rays, Walt Disney’s Wide World of Sports and Florida Citrus Sports.

A 1988 graduate of Eckerd College where he was a pitcher on the baseball team, Frew received a master’s degree from Slippery Rock University in 1991 and a doctoral degree in higher education from Nova Southeastern in 2001. Steve and Michelle have two children, Erin Elizabeth and Dylan Hunter.
