Volleyball Coaching Staff

Jeff Reavis enters his second season with the Rollins Tars volleyball program as an assistant coach.   Reavis joined the volleyball coaching staff in 2011 after successful stints at the University of Tampa and the University of Florida.

Reavis comes to Rollins from Gainesville spending six years (2004-10) as the executive director of the Gainesville Juniors, one of the premier clubs in the state.  While there, he also served as the volunteer assistant coach at Florida.  Since 2005, he has also been the Buchholz High School varsity head coach, where he led his team to a District 6A state championship in 2007, while earning the Dairy Farms 6A Coach of the Year award.

He began his coaching career as the head coach of the Tampa Bay Juniors in 1992 and spent 10 very successful seasons there.  Each year his teams qualified for the USAV Junior Olympics.  During that time, he also served as the assistant coach at Tampa, where the squad played in the NCAA tournament every year, finishing twice as the national runner-ups.

Over 70 of his players have gone on to sign national letters of intent, including over 30 to Division I programs.  Reavis has been very involved with the USAV Florida High Performance Program, coaching the Junior National Team to a first-place medal in 2001 and '04, along with the Youth National Team to a third-place showing in 2006.  In 2005, he served as the Director of the Florida Region High Performance Program.
