PALO ALTO, Calif. (February 19, 2012) - Rollins turned in a final round 319 to finish tied for eighth at the star studded Peg Barnard Invitational, hosted by Stanford University.

The Tars were seventh heading into the day after an opening round 314 and finished the tournament with 633 strokes, tying with San Francisco.

Cal turned in a final scorecard of 587 to outdistance host Stanford by 19 shots. Washington was third while Oregon State and Fresno State tied for fourth.

Fabia Rothenfluh tied for 18th, shooting scores of 75 and 77 to total 152 for the weekend. Elin Marcsdottir shot 159 strokes and tied for 34th, carding rounds of 75 and 84. Kayla Sciupider tied for 41st with rounds of 84 and 77 (161).

Kristen Garabedian finished alone in 49th place, turning in scores of 83 and 81 for 164 strokes. Clara Teixeira was two strokes back, tied for 53rd with 166 strokes (81-85).

Rollins also has a split squad participating in the Florida Southern Lady Moc Invitational in Lakeland, Monday, Feb. 20-21.

The Tars will then host the 37th annual Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational on Monday, Mar. 5-6.
