WINTER PARK, Fla. (July 13, 2012) - Rising senior distance swimmer Jenny Nilson was named CSCAA Scholar All-America, it was recently announced. The women's swim team combined to earn Scholar All-America Team honors.

Nilson has been one of the Sunshine State Conference's top distance swimming over the past three years and owns five individual team records. She also shines in the classroom, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

The Tars combined for a 3.3 GPA in the spring, ranking 25^th in Division II.

The 2012-13 season kicks off Sept. 28-30 at the University of Florida hosted All-Florida College Invitational. Rollins and UF have not met in the pool since 1941.  On April 24, 1922, the Tars and Gators held the first ever intercollegiate swimming meet with Rollins winning 32-18 in Lake Virginia.
