KANSAS CITY, Kan. (September 11, 2012) - After a 1-1 weekend in Pensacola, the Rollins men's soccer team fell six spots to No. 23 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire rankings.
The Tars beat West Florida 2-1 on Friday before suffering their first loss of the season Sunday afternoon to now 18th ranked Young Harris, 2-1.
Sunshine State Conference rival Lynn moved into the top spot while Seattle Pacific jumped from fifth to second. Southern New Hampshire, Flager, and Midwestern State round out the top five.
Also representing the SSC along with the Tars and Fighting Knights this week is Tampa, checking in at No. 7.
The Tars will be back in action Wednesday, Sept. 12 when they welcome Eckerd to Winter Park for a non-conference match up. Fans can follow along with all the action live on the Tars sports network at RollinsSports.com
