WINTER PARK, Fla. (September 12, 2012) - Behind a balanced attack of four different goal scorers, No. 23 Rollins rolled to 6-0 win over Eckerd in a non-conference match-up Wednesday evening in front of a crowd of 300 plus at Barker Family Stadium.

Freshman Brett Durrance and sophomore Rob Crowley led the way, each registering a pair of goals while Alex Bisbee and Grant Blackhurt both added a goal of their own.

Keneil Baker played all 90 minutes for the Tars in goal, recording one stop, improving his record to 2-1.

Crowley opened the Tars onslaught in the 28th minute with a rocket from the top corner of the box passed Tritons keeper Toni Virtanen.

Durrance then added to the Rollins lead with back to back goals in the 32nd and 43rd minutes respectively, his second coming off a free kick from just outside the near corner of the box.

Bisbee added his second goal of the year before Crowley notched his team leading fourth, second of the night, off an assist from senior Daniel Salazar in the 67th minute.

Freshman Grant Blackhurst added the finishing touches six minutes later when he slid it just under a diving Virtanen.

With the win, the Tars improve to 3-1-1 while Eckerd drops to 2-2-0.

Rollins will open up Sunshine State Conference play Saturday, Sept. 15 at Lynn with game time slated for 3 p.m. Fans can listen to the action live on the Tars Sports Network at RollinsSports.com.
