SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. (September 17, 2012) - The Rollins women's golf team opened the 2012 season at the Louisville Cardinal Cup and sit in sixth place with a two-round score of 603.
Rollins shot a first round 297 and carded a 306 in round two. Host Louisville leads the way with a two-round score of 591. Five strokes back in second place is Cincinnati (596), while Missouri (599), Georgia State (599) and Chattanooga (601) round out the top-five.
Freshman Annie Dulman leads the way with an even par 144 (72-72) and currently stands in a tie for third while Kayla Sciupider shot a 5-over-par 149 and is tied for 15th. Elin Marcsdottir shot a 154 (77-77) and is tied with six others for 42nd. Momo Sakuragi is tied for 59th with a score of 159 and Kelly Krusoe tied for 66th with a 160.
Final round play for the Cardinal Cup will begin Tuesday, Sept. 18 with an 8:40 a.m. shotgun start.
