ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (September 24, 2012) - Rollins sailed at the USF venue in St. Petersburg on Saturday, obtaining a seventh place overall finish for the second consecutive weekend.

A total of nine teams competed in two divisions, A and B. With the use of several of their fleet of 20 FJs, USF was able to start all 18 teams together. 

Racing started at 10:00 am in a breeze of 6 to 7 knots, with each race lasting about 12 minutes.  Seven races were completed until the breeze subsided in the early afternoon at around 1:30 pm. 

The Tars fleet led by Ben Getchell placed fourth in the B division, securing a seventh place overall finish for Rollins.

Sailing in the A fleet for the Tars was Skipper Chad Murray with a Crew of Alex Mickler and Ipek Coskuncan.  Along with Getchell in the B fleet was Crew Lexy Ryan. 

Rollins next travels to Gainesville for South Point #4 on Sat, Sept. 29.
