WINTER PARK, Fla. (October 26, 2012) - A month after the season opening All-Florida Invitational, Rollins men's and women's swim teams now take to the Sunshine State Conference, hosting Saint Leo at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The meet will be the first of five dates at the Alfond Pool this season and kicks off the Tars conference slate.

A trio of seniors will look to lead the Rollins men into the year with their sights set on conference championships and the elusive "A" standard into the NCAA Championship.

Mike Weinstein has put in a lot of work in the offseason and is primed for a final campaign. The Allenton, Pa. native is the owner of two individual school records, posting program bests in the 100-yard freestyle (46.11) and 200-yard backstroke (1:54.22). Nate Burn is a versatile sprinter and, along with Tim Simpson, gives the Tars much needed depth in the conference.

On the women's side, Jenny Nilson has been one of the top distance swimmers in the South and is searching for a bid to the National Championship in her senior season. She is the most decorated swimmer in women's program history, having set four individual school records and three relay standards. Nilson is also the only Tar to be on the podium at the Sunshine State Conference Championships.

Carsyn Crane and Jessica Speigel are middle distance veterans for the Tars and Stephanie Decker is in her final season as one of Rollins' best backstrokers.

Saint Leo has two dual meets under their caps this season. The Lions men beat Florida Tech 120-85 in the opener and fell to Nova Southeastern 130-74 last week. SLU's women's team is 201 on the season, beating Florida Tech (71-24) and Lynn (68-20) while falling to NSU (159-46).

Results will be posted on RollinsSports.com after the conclusion of the meet.
