WINTER PARK, Fla. (October 27, 2012) - Senior Mike Weinstein was an individual winner and accounted for the bulk of Rollins points, but the Tars fell 165-90 to Saint Leo on Saturday.
The meet served as the 2012-13 Sunshine State Conference opener for Rollins.
Weinstein picked up a victory in the 100-yard backstroke, stopping the clock at 55.39. He also earned runner-up finishes in the 50-yard freestyle (21.98) and 200-yard backstroke (2:07.19).
Brian Sanborn was also a winner for Rollins, taking the 200-yard IM in 2:04.40. Earlier in the day, he picked up a second place finish in the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 2:06.69.
Taylor Wright posted a pair of runner-up finishes on the day, stopping the clock at 1:53.03 in the 200-yard freestyle and 50.91 in the 100-yard freestyle.
Daniel Mazur was second in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:11.83) and Eric Solloway took second in the 500 (5:09.92). Also picking up runner-up finishes for the Tars was Garrett Graham in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.92) and David Relihan in the 100-yard butterfly (54.72).
Rollins will be back in the pool Saturday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m., hosting Nova Southeastern.
