CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (May 12, 2017) – Postseason awards for the third-ranked Rollins women's golf team began rolling in with both Seher Atwal and Lexie Toth being named WGCA All-South Region, it was announced Friday.

The Women's Golf Coaches Association recognized each of the top-10 golfers in eight regions across Division II. The 40 players are also finalists for All-America honors, which will be announced during the NCAA Division II National Championship in Findlay, Ohio May 17-20.

Toth leads the Tars with a 75.56 stroke average and five top-10 finishes. The junior closed the NCAA Division II Super Regional with an even-par 72 and moved into a tie for 10th, leading the Tars to a runner-up finish and spot in the national championship tournament. Toth has been named All-South Region and First Team WGCA All-America each of the previous two seasons.

Atwal emerged as one of the nation's top freshmen this season, carrying a 75.97 stroke average into the national championship. She has led the Tars in each of the last three tournaments, tying for fifth at the Georgetown Hoya Invitational, tying for 11th at the SSC Championship and tying for seventh in the NCAA Division II Super Regional.

Rollins will look to defend its NCAA Division II National Championship and close out the 2017 season at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio May 17-20.
