WINTER PARK, Fla. (May 16, 2017) – Rollins College head volleyball coach Mika Robinson has been selected by the American Volleyball Coaches Association to participate in its coach's leadership workshop, hosted by the US Marine Corps in Quantico, Va. Robinson is just one of five coaches selected by the AVCA to participate in this year's workshop, and to date the AVCA has mentored more than 100 coaches across all sports.

The coaches workshop is a three-day intensive leadership program designed to teach coaches from all across the US. The workshop specializes in helping coaches hone their leadership skills on and off the field, with small unit leadership tactics and techniques. The AVCA selects coaches from all different backgrounds and sports to participate including basketball, baseball, football, soccer, and golf, however only five coaches are selected every year.

This year's workshop will start on May 17, and will last three-days before concluding on May 20 in Quantico, Va.
