WINTER PARK, Fla. (May 18, 2017) – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Associateion has named 48 student-athletes in Division II with a selection to one of the IWLCA All-American Teams for 2017, with Rollins seeing two student-athletes earn a nod as an All-American selection.

Sophomores Kallie German and Lindsay Van Beck were recognized on this season's All-American teams, with German earning Third Team honors and Van Beck getting the nod as a Second Team selection.  The IWLCA will honor the National All-Americans at the IWLCA All-American Banquet on Saturday, June 3, at the Hunt Valley Inn in Hunt Valley, Md.

German repeats as a third team selection after earning Second Team All-Region honors last week.  The 2016 First Team All-Region selection posted a sophomore campaign that saw her lead the team in scoring across the board, notching a team high 40 goals and 25 assists for 65 points.  The Centreville, Md. native added 14 ground balls, seven draw controls, and 14 caused turnovers on the season, while earning three game-winning goals.  The 2017 Sunshine State Conference First Team selection concluded her second season ranked fifth in Division II for free-position goals in a game, averaging 1.27.  In SSC statistical rankings, German sat fifth in goals per game, second in assists per game, first in points per game, and 14th in caused turnovers per game.  For her efforts this season, German was named SSC Offensive Player of the Week twice this year.

This marks the first All-American honor for Van Beck, who earned another career first last week when she was named to the IWLCA All-Region First Team.  Van Beck posted a solid sophomore season that saw her start all 16 games for the Tars, earning four goals as a defender.  The Atlanta, Ga. native added 22 ground balls, nine draw controls, and led the team in caused turnovers with 26.  The First Team All-SSC selection ranks third in the Sunshine State Conference in caused turnovers per game, averaging 1.63 per contest, and has been named Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Week twice this season.
