Charged with providing an incomparable experience for Rollins student-athletes, the Tar Booster Club is searching for more members to get into the game! In recent years, the Tar Booster Club has made significant progress in our ability to assist the Rollins Athletic Department. Last year, the membership base of 747 donated $235,000 to help support the Rollins Athletics mission. That's a good total, but as costs and needs increase, it's essential to the development of our athletic programs that the commitment of our Tar Booster members also continue to grow.

Thanks to the help of hundreds of loyal boosters, the Rollins Tar Booster Club enjoyed another strong year during the 2007-08 campaign. We are already excitedly looking toward the upcoming year and working toward ensuring we reach our goals and expectations. HOW TO HELP THE TARS
-Attend our games...Nothing does more for the pride and sense of accomplishment for your student-athletes than cheering fans. Creating a vibrant, supportive atmosphere at sporting events is vital to success in College athletics
-Cash gifts...Money gifts support extras that benefit the College and the student-athletes
-Pledges...Pledges don't have to be paid in a single payment. You can spread your pledge payment throughout the year. All pledges must be paid within in the pledge year (June 1 - May 31)
-Gifts in Kind...Goods and other services to Rollins in lieu of cash is highly beneficial
-Other Gifts and Endowments...Long-term appreciated securities, real property, life insurances policies or other assets may be even more helpful to Tars Athletics than money
-Matching Gifts...Increase the value of your gift by enclosing your company's matching gift form
TAR BOOSTER LEVELS
To ensure that all Tar Booster Club donations meet the new tax code expectations for an allowable tax deduction, athletic event passes will no longer be provided with Tar Booster memberships.
Below is a list of each Tar Booster membership level:
- Captain's Club (donation of $2,500 or higher)
- Jack McDowall Hall of Fame ($1,000 to $2,499)
- Rex Beach Olympian ($600 to $999)
- Coach's Circle ($450 to $599)
- Player's Circle ($300 to $449)
- Blue & Gold Circle ($150 to $299)
- Shipmates ($50 to $149)
Senior citizens (age 62+) receive a 20% discount for all levels

-The creation of RollinsSports.com
-Men's basketball team trips to Europe and Las Vegas
-Women's golf trips to Puerto Rico and Hawaii
-Purchase of new shells for the rowing teams
-Purchase of new fleet of boats for sailing teams
-Purchase of new digital camera for Sports Information Department
-Broadcasts of Rollins men's and women's basketball on WPRK. Rollins is the only school in the conference to consistently broadcast every game
-California trips by the men's and women's tennis teams
-Support funds for coaches and bonuses
