Shawn Pistor
Position: Head Coach
Alma Mater: Rollins
Graduating Year: 1995

Proud Rollins graduate and veteran head coach Shawn Pistor returns for his 16th year with the Tars rowing teams.

A four-year varsity rower as an undergrad, he is in his 10 year at the helm of the storied program. The Tars have enjoyed unprecedented success during Pistor's tenure. In the 2005 season, he led the men's varsity four to one of their best season's in school history. The boat took third place at the Dad Vail Championships in Philadelphia and first place at the SIRA Championships, their second championship under Pistor (1999). Capping off one of the Tars best performances at the SIRA meet, the men's novice four also took the gold. The previous season, both the men's and women's varsity eights competed at the San Diego Crew Classic and in 2002-03 the men's varsity eight took the FIRA state crown.

The Rollins women have made two appearances in the NCAA Championships under Pistor, taking third in 2002 and sixth in 2003. They also took first at the Sunshine State Conference Championships in 1998 and 2002. In addition, the 2002 women's varsity four took first at the SIRA Championships and the women's JV four did the same in 1999.

Pistor earned his B.A. in Sociology from Rollins in 1995 and completed his MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business in 1999. An avid outdoorsman, he spends his off-season working summer camps in forests of New Hampshire.
