Christopher McClure is in his fourth season as the Operations Manager for Rollins Athletics in 2009-10. Born and raised in White Plains, Maryland, he originally came to Rollins College in the fall of 2005 after attaining dual A.A. degrees from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina. In August of 2005, Christopher joined the Tars Athletic Staff as a part-time employee, assisting in athletic facility management as well as game operations. In addition to working for the Athletic Department, Christopher was also enrolled as a full-time student at the Hamilton Holt School of Rollins College.

In July of 2006, Christopher replaced mentor John Portland as the Athletic Department’s Operation Manager. Over his last three full seasons as Operations Manager, Christopher has been primarily responsible for all of Rollins College’s home athletic events, athletic facilities & operations, general maintenance, and the marketing/promotions of Rollins College Athletics. Christopher also served as the President of Communiqué (The Student Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association) in Central Florida during the 2006-07 school year.

Christopher McClure graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rollins College in 2007, earning a B.A. in Organizational Communication with a minor in Business Administration. Christopher was also honored as he was inducted into the Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Honor Society.
