WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 19, 2012) - The Tars took a lead in doubles and quickly sealed up the win in singles as eight-ranked Rollins defeated 22nd-ranked Ouachita Baptist 5-2 Monday afternoon.

Rollins improves to 9-5 on the year while the Tigers fall to 6-1.

Lucas Jovita and Jason Alabaster defeated Helge Knuth and Marvin Muller 8-3 in the top doubles match. Jeff Morris and Ari Davis teamed to take Ernesto Laborda and Ramon Abaitua 8-5 in the No. 3 slot.

Top-ranked Jovita battled Marko Boskovic in the No. 1 singles flight and won a three-set thriller, 6-1, 2-6, 6-4. In the No. 2 position, 11th-ranked Morris won 6-1, 6-1 over Knuth. Constantin Sturdza earned a point for the Tars with a 6-4, 7-6(2) win over Laborda at No. 6.

Rollins will next host West Florida on Wednesday, March 21 in Winter Park.
