After day one, Ashley Loft and Elissa Decampli were still alive in the main draw but couldn't survive day two. Loft fell to Lynn University's Val Confalonieri 6-0, 6-1 while Decampli suffered a 6-2, 6-4 defeat to Florida Southern's Magda Riutort.
After dropping her round of 32 match on Thursday, Rosenberg has rattled off three wins in the Flight A consolation bracket since, including a quarterfinal win over Saint Leo's Coralie Pesenti 7-5, 4-6, 10-3. She will face Lynn's Kim Przeslowski in the semi-finals on Saturday.
Along with Rosenberg, Salvador is also still alive in the consolation bracket. She defeated West Alabama's Emily Gerding 6-0, 6-1 in the quarterfinals to advance to Saturday's semi-final.
In doubles action, Lisa Loft and sister Ashley defeated UWA's Natalia Cardenas and Dasha Popova in the quarterfinals of the consolation flight and will now face Palm Beach Atlantic's Leyla Taracena and Veena Vasquez on Saturday.
The Tars will continue play at the ITA South Region Championship through Sunday in Lakeland, Fla.
