Rollins (13-10) will travel to Miami Shores to face a familiar foe in fifth-seed Saint Leo on Sunday, April 28. The Tars and Lions met in the third place match of the SSC Tournament that was stretched over a rain soaked weekend, with freshman Robin Marchione sealing up a 5-4 win for Rollins.
Top seed Barry (24-0) serves as the host and will meet the winner of Stillman (25-2) and Ala. Huntsville (14-13) in the other side of the bracket. The two winners will then meet on Monday, April 29th in the championship.
The Tars have an all-time record of 41-31 in NCAA Division II postseason play, including two national championships, one runner-up and four third place finishes. Rollins enjoyed record 23 straight bids into the tournament before missing out on the 2006 event. They have since been in the South Region Tournament each of the last seven seasons.
The Tars are ranked sixth in the latest ITA Division II poll with the next ranking slated to come out May 1.
