WINTER PARK, Fla. (June 20, 2013) – The Rollins softball team will host its annual Showcase in the fall; it was announced by Head Coach Michelle Frew. This fall, there will be two dates for participants to choose from, Saturday, September 14th or Saturday, September 21st.

The Showcase is designed for any 9-12 graders who have an interest in adding to their competitive experience. Participants will be involved in various skill workouts facilitated by the Rollins softball players and coaching staff, and then will have the opportunity to showcase their skills during live games scheduled throughout the day.

Showcase participants will be led by Rollins players and coaches at the Rollins Softball Stadium at MLK Park (formerly Lake Island Park), one of the best collegiate softball facilities in the South Region. Players and their families will also take a guided tour of the Rollins campus with admissions staff. This event does fill up and people have been turned away each of the past four years. All but four current Rollins players have participated in this event in the past.

Rollins has won 3 of the last 5 Sunshine State Conference Championships, has been ranked in the national top 25 each year for a decade, and has been to the NCAA tournament 6 of the past 7 years. The team goal is to win the NCAA Championship.
