NORMAN Okla. (June 19, 2012) - Rollins senior Spencer Cole was named PING Honorable Mention All-America, it was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Tuesday.

The award caps off Cole's banner collegiate career with the Tars and gives Rollins men's golf its 23^rd All-America honoree.

Cole led Rollins throughout the 2011-12 season, posting a 73.21 stroke average in 33 rounds. He earned five top-10 finishes, was in the top-three in three events and won the 2011 Rollins Invitational. At the Tars' home event, he blistered Rio Pinar Golf Club, turning in rounds of 69-71-71 to finish with a five-under par 211.

Cole was also named both second team All-South Region and second team All-Sunshine State Conference for the second straight season.
