WINTER PARK, Fla. (July 27, 2012) - Head coach Dr. Jon Sjogren has announced the 2012 dates for the annual Rollins College Baseball Fall Prospect Clinics, hosted at Alfond Stadium.
The Tars are offering two separate clinics, a one-day program and a two-day program, open to all high school 2013-16 graduates. These clinics are designed to offer players with a desire to play at the highest level of competition an opportunity to receive instruction and display their talents in front of the Rollins coaching staff and other coaches at the college level.
Session One, the one-day clinic, is set for Sunday, Sept. 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The dates for Session Two are yet to be determined.
Session One: One Day Prospect Clinic
Sunday, Sept. 2 - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Cost: $90
Session One will consist of a college-style skills workout that will be complete with batting practice, a defensive evaluation and home to first times. Detailed instruction in all phases of the game will take place following the skill workout, along with live games to showcase ability through competition. These camps are filled by position to ensure everyone gets equal playing time during the live games. When all slots are filled for a position, registration will be closed and you will be placed on a wait list.
For more information or questions regarding the clinic, please contact Rollins assistant baseball coach Jim Tyrrell at jtyrrell@rollins.edu or Danny Clark at dlclark@rollins.edu or you can call 407-691-1346.
