WINTER PARK, Fla. (January 17, 2012) - Rollins junior Mike Weinstein earned four-wins and a relay victory in a pair of events to garner Sunshine State Conference Swimming of the Week honors, it was announced Tuesday.

The freestyler dominated both 100-yard and 200-yard events in match-ups against Westminster and Tampa last week.

Against Westminster, he took the 100 in a time of 48.27 and the 200 in 1:47.84. The Allentown, Pa. native was also part of the Tars' winning 200-yard freestyle relay team that stopped the clock at 1:28.22.

On Saturday in a big SSC meet with nationally-ranked Tampa, Weinstein again shined. He won the 100-yard free in 48.98 and 200 in 1:49.35.

Rollins will host Daytona State in its last home event of the season, Saturday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m.
