WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 19, 2012)- The Rollins women's lacrosse team owns a record of 14-0 and now sits as the No.1 team in the South Region, it was announced Wednesday.

Rollins still has two games remaining in its regular season slate with a road trip to Colorado that will see the Blue and Gold match up against Regis. The Tars own the best in-region record with a 12-0 mark, while the only other undefeated squad resides in the North Region with LeMoyne owning an 11-0 record.

The Tars have dominated their opponents, outscoring the opposition by an average of 11 goals per game. Rollins has spread around the attack with 10 players earning double-digit points and 18 players have registered at least one point this season.

Rollins has enjoyed its most successful season with the program now in its fifth season of existence and looks to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history.
