FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (December 17, 2010) - The Rollins men posted four, top-five finishes and sit fourth midway through the Nova Southeastern Shark Invitational.
The Tars have racked up 250 points after day two of the four-day event. Florida Southern leads the way with 351.5 points while Tampa is second (323.5) and host NSU is third (322).
Rollins' 200-yard freestyle relay of Michael Weinstein, Billy Shugart, Colby Loetz and Kamel Tejeda took third in a time of 1:26.20. Tejeda and Weinstein teamed with Andrew Johnson and Tim Simpson to finish fifth in the 400-yard medley relay in 3:38.25.
Tejeda finished fourth in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 4:43.12 with Brian Sanborn taking sixth in 4:51.47.
