WINTER PARK, Fla. (January 7, 2011) - Rollins College's more than 350 student-athletes combined for a 3.16 GPA in the Fall '10 semester, the department's 19th consecutive term above 3.0.

The Tars women's cross country team led the way with a 3.66 GPA, earning the Sports Information Director's GPA Trophy. The men's harriers posted a 3.64 and were second, followed by the previous holder of the SID Trophy, women's golf (3.62).

Overall, 16 of Rollins 22 varsity sports were above a combined 3.0 GPA with 27 student-athletes earning perfect 4.0 GPA's in the fall.
