Rollins College Athlete of the Week:  Doug O'Brien

Men's lacrosse senior goalie Doug O'Brien has been named Rollins College Athlete of the Week for his performance between the pipes for the Tars last week. O'Brien led the Tars to two consecutive victories while in California.

O'Brien helped the Tars attain new milestones as he helped Rollins to program's first road victories this weekend.  O'Brien made 11 saves against Dominican, and 13 saves against Notre Dame to help lift the Tars to their first wins of the 2011 season. The New Vernon, N.J. native also earned three ground balls on the week while earning the first wins of his career at Rollins. On the season O'Brien has made 58 saves and owns a .382 save percentage.
