WINTER PARK, Fla. (January 9, 2012) - The Rollins Athletic Department posted a combined 3.207 GPA in the Fall 2011 semester, the Tars' 21st straight term above 3.0.

A total of 365 student-athletes across Rollins' 22 varsity sports earned the best grade point average in the past decade. The Rollins Athletic Director's honor roll features a record 259 student-athletes with 23 earning perfect 4.0 GPA's in the term.

Women's golf retained the Athletic Communications Director's GPA trophy for the best team GPA in the department. Julie Garner's squad also took the award in the Spring 2011 semester. Water ski was second with a 3.60 while men's cross country took third with a 3.52.
