CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (July 18, 2012) - The Rollins women's golf team, with a combined 3.628 GPA, was named a NGCA All-Scholar Team, it was announced Wednesday.

The Tars GPA was 20^th best among all Divisions. Lee University posted a 3.965 to win the team GPA award for the second straight year. Merrimack (3.787) was second and Otterbein (3.786) was third.

Of Sunshine State Conference schools, Lynn tied for 10^th with a 3.707 and Barry was 17^th with a 3.663 GPA.

Earlier this season, the NGCA named Fabia Rothenfluh, Elin Marcsdottir and Clara Teixeira All-American Scholars.

Rollins starts its 2012-13 campaign Sept. 17-18 at the Cardinal Cup in Louisville, Ky.
