DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (September 22, 2012) - After 18 holes of golf, the Rollins women's golf team leads the Daytona State Lady Falcon Invitational by nine strokes as they shot a 297 on day one.

Rollins leads host-Daytona State as the Lady Falcons shot a 306.  Sunshine State Conference foe Florida Southern is two strokes back of Daytona State in third with a 308 while Florida Tech is close behind in fourth with a 310 on day one. 

In just her second collegiate tournament of her career, freshman Annie Dulman leads the Tars and the pack as she shot a 2-under-par 70.  Elin Marcsdottir is tied for fourth with a 3-over-par 75 while Kayla Sciupider is tied for seventh with a 76.  Kristen Garabedian is tied for 33^rd with an 83.

The Tars will look to capture their first tournament title of the season on Sunday, Sept. 23 as they wrap up the Daytona State Lady Falcon Invitational.  Tee times are set for 8:45 a.m.
