KANSAS CITY, Kan. (December 27, 2010) - The Rollins women's soccer team was able to put their academic prowess on display as three Tars were named to the NSCAA Scholar All-Region team, it was announced over the Christmas holiday.
Rollins senior defender Meagan Thomas highlights the trio with First Team honors, while Charlotte Murrell earns a spot on the Second Team, and Chelsea Brady rounds out the group with a nod on the as an Honorable Mention selection.
All three played a vital role in helping the Tars achieve yet another milestone season, securing the program's third NCAA Tournament appearance in as many years, while hitting the books and defining the true meaning of student-athlete.
