Women's Soccer Stays Steady at No.11

WINTER PARK, Fla. (November 9, 2011) - The Rollins women's soccer team checked in at No.11 for the second-consecutive week, announced in the newest edition of the NSCAA Division II coaches poll. T 

The top-10 spots saw a large change with Grand Valley St. garnering the top spot. The top-five sees California (Pa.) at No.2, Bridgeport at No.3, Central Missouri at No.4 and Seattle Pacific checking in at No.5

The Tars held steady at No.11 after going 1-1 in the Sunshine State Conference tournament with Rollins capturing a quarterfinal win against Florida Tech 2-0 and came up short against Tampa in the championship game. Rollins ended the season with a 14-2- 2 record and garnered the No.2 in the NCAA South Region Tournament and will await the winner of the game between North Alabama and Tampa. SSC Defensive Player of the Year Michelle Dillingham will look to take the Tars deep into the tournament as the senior has allowed six goals all year.
