WINTER PARK, Fla. (November 10, 2011) - Senior defender Charlotte Murrell collected her third-consecutive Capital One Academic All-District award, announced Wednesday.  Murell is majoring in political science and holds a 3.83 overall GPA.

Murrell began her career as a forward and has transitioned to an elite defender in her time in a Rollins uniform. The senior has tallied two goals and one assist this season and looks to lead her team deep in the NCAA Tournament this weekend. Murrell now has amassed 15 goals and six assists for a total of 36 points. She has also been named to the Rollins Athletic Director's Honor Roll, as well as the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
