KANSAS CITY, Mo. (October 23, 2012) - Winners of six in a row, Rollins College now has it's highest ranking of the season, sitting at No. 14 in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II poll, it was announced Tuesday.
In the six game winning streak, the Tars are outscoring their opponents 18-2 with four shutouts. Rollins now averages 2.6 goals per contest, best in the Sunshine State Conference and 13th best in all of Division II.
The Tars also lead the conference in total assists with 35, five more than second place Lynn.
Regis still claims the top spot for the second consecutive week with LIU Post sitting second. Simon Fraser, Lynn, and the University of Charleston round out the top-five.
