WINTER PARK, Fla. (September 24, 2012) - Three events into the 2012 season and Lauryan Falcone has now been Sunshine State Conference Runner of the Week, presented VALIC three times, it was announced Monday.

The senior posted a season-best time of 18:58.48 to finish second in the field of 107 competitors at last week's Embry-Riddle Ascis Classic. Falcone's run helped the Tars take fifth place in the 12-team invitational.

Falcone has won each of the last two opportunities at the conference award, posting a runner-up finish at the UT Early Bird Classic and winning the Jim Ryun Invitational in Lakeland.

Rollins will be back on the course Friday, Sept. 28 at the FLrunners.com Invitational in Titusville.
