Orlando, Fla. (October 3, 2011) - Waking well before dawn on Sunday, Sept. 25, Rollins men's and women's swim teams volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida Ride-4-Ronald event.
A total of 638 cyclists participated in the race, which raised $118,000 for the Ronald McDonald House. The Tars assisted with set-up and manned rest stops during the event.
"Our kids had an absolute blast working the race," said head coach Dr. Rich Morris. "It's great for us to get out in the community and spread the word about Rollins swimming while helping with a great cause."
