Head Coach Michelle Frew and the back-to-back Sunshine State Conference Champion Rollins softball team will be hosting a series of 2 hour mini-camps throughout September as well as a Prospective Player Showcase on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the Softball Stadium at Lake Island Park.
Mini-Camps are scheduled for each Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm throughout the month of September. Rollins coaches and players will provide instruction focusing on fundamental skill development.
The Showcase is designed for 9-12 graders who have an interest in Rollins and the softball program. Prospects will be involved in various workouts facilitated by the Rollins softball players and staff. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their skills during an extended softball game at their chosen positions. Prospects and their families will take a guided tour of the Rollins campus. Players will have the chance to get work with players and coaches from Rollins as well as showcase their talent at one of the best collegiate softball facilities in the South Region.
