21 Krista Rodden

2011: Started 46 games in her junior season, amassing a .361 batting average with 52 hits and 39 RBI...her best game came on 2/22/11 against conference rival Florida Southern where the Mobile, Ala. native went 3 for 4 with four RBI...her post season accolades included being named first team All- SSC, first team NFCA and Daktronics All-South region as well as honorable mention Daktronics All-American.

2010: Rodden, a transfer from South Alabama, led the Tars in RBIs (56) and finished second on the team with a .397 batting average... for her efforts during the season, Rodden collected All-SSC First Team, Daktronics All-South Region First Team and NFCA All-Region Second Team... her biggest clutch hit came against Florida Tech with a game-winning homerun to keep the Tars winning conference streak alive.

2008: (South Alabama) Rodden started in 17 of 40 games appeared in...tallied a .233 batting average and collected eight RBIs...also posted a .955 fielding percentage for the Jaguars...third on the team in doubles (3), second in homeruns (2) and only committed three errors.

High School: Rodden led Baker HS to State Championships in 2003, 2005 and 2007...named to First Team All-State all four seasons as a Honeybee...also collected Catcher of the Year (2007) and was part of the Super 12 All-Star in 2005 and 2007...also played volleyball for Baker HS.

Personal: Born 1/13/89...Daughter of Jerry Rodden and Robin Meadows...majoring in elementary education.
