ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (September 27, 2011) - Spencer Cole and Jordan Lewis each had big final rounds to lead the Rollins men's golf team to a seventh place finish at the Jay Jennison Invitational.

The Tars turned in rounds of 299-296-303 for a final score of 898. Wilmington (Del.) won the event with 881 strokes while Eckerd (890) and Wingate (890) tied for second in the field of 15 schools.

Cole shot rounds of 74-76-72 to tie for 11th place with 222 strokes. Lewis was two shots back (224) in a tie for 13th with rounds of 80-73 and a team-best 71 on Tuesday.

Scott Lamb opened with even par 72 and followed with scores of 74 and 83 to finish tied for 29th with 229 strokes. Tyler Sluman turned in a pair of 73's to start the event and finished with an 85 to tie for 32nd place with a score of 231. Hunter Stone tied for 56th, carding scores of 83-76-77 (236).

Rollins will next head to Utah for the Weber State Wildcat Invitational Oct. 10-11.
