WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 23, 2010) – Rollins swept doubles and dropped just one singles match as the 10th-ranked Tars defeated Division I Central Arkansas 8-1 on Tuesday evening.

The victory improves Rollins to 12-4 on the year while UCA fall falls to 1-9.

Margaret Junker and Kayli Ragsdale teamed to win the No. 1 doubles match 8-3 over Petra Keilova and Lisa Mainz while Roshni Luthra and Allie Steele won 8-1 over Allison Hartman and Lindsey Short at No. 3. Holly Fleming and Stefania Tkach picked up a 9-8(2) win over Kati Anderson and Kazumi Otoni in the No. 3. match.

In singles play, 21st-ranked Luthra won 6-1, 6-3 over Keilova in the top flight match with Fleming downing Mainz 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2. Tkach scored a 6-1, 6-2 win over Otoni at No. 3, Ragsdale won 6-1, 6-0 over Hartman at No. 4 and Tatji beat Anderson 7-5, 7-6(4) in the No. 5 match.

Rollins will be back in action on Thursday, Mar. 25, hosting Cornell at 3:30 p.m.
