WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 5, 2012) - Rollins led 2-1 after doubles, but would only earn one more point the rest of the way as the 12^th-ranked Tars fell to 19^th-ranked Florida Southern 6-3 Thursday.

Rollins drops to 10-9 overall and 3-4 in conference play while the Mocs improve to 10-8, 3-4.

Mariana Salvador and Ashley Rosenberg won the No. 2 doubles for the Tars, beating Olivia Spagnuolo and Christie Nunnemann 8-4. Callie Whitlock and Elissa DeCampli took the No. 3 match by the same 8-4 score over Joalis Dominguez and Jessica Cove.

In singles, however FSC won three, three-set battles at three, four and five to score the win.

Rollins lone point came at No. 6 singles with Kayli Ragsdale winning 7-5, 6-4 past Laura Wichmann.

The Tars next hosts senior day on Friday, April 13 against Eckerd. Competition is slated for 3:30 p.m.
