WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 25, 2011) - Junior shortstop Nick Adams has been tabbed Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week for the week ending April 24 for his performance against the then eighth-ranked Bucs.
Adams batted .615 in a three-game set against the Bucs where Rollins handed Barry their first conference series loss of the year. He hit safely in all three games and tallied multiple hits in Rollins' victories in the opener and finale.
In a 2-0 decision in the series opener, Adams was 3-4 with an RBI and came up big in the finale as he was 4-6 with two runs, four RBIs, and a pair of doubles.
The Orlando native concluded the series with a .769 slugging percentage and a .615 on base percentage, along with three stolen bags out of four attempts.
