WINTER PARK, Fla. (February 15, 2011) - The Rollins women's basketball team split a pair of games last week and dropped four spots to No. 23 in the latest USA Today ESPN Division II Coaches Poll.

Rollins lost a tough road assignment at Barry, 53-49, but bounced back in a big way on Saturday, thumping Saint Leo 73-50. Against the Lions, Amber Heistan set a new school record with seven 3-pointers.

Clayton State moved into the top spot and is the lone unbeaten team in the nation with a record of 24-0. Previous No. 1 Lander dropped one spot to No. 2 with Delta State coming in at No. 3.

The Tars, now 20-5, are the only ranked team from the Sunshine State Conference with Florida Tech (15), Florida Southern (10), and Tampa (10) also receiving votes.

Rollins is idle on Wednesday, Feb. 16 and will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 19 at Florida Southern. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m. Fans can follow the action live on the Tars Sports Network and locally on 91.5 FM, WPRK.
