Play will begin with four games on Friday, March 9 inside Warden Arena with the semifinals slated for Saturday, March 10. The finals will be played the evening of Monday, March 12. Game times will be announced as soon as they become available.
The Tars will meet eighth-seed West Alabama in the first round. The Tigers were the surprise winner of the Gulf South Conference, earning the automatic bid. The winner of that game meet the winner of fourth-seed Alabama-Huntsville and fifth seed Delta State in the semifinals.
Second-seed Florida Southern will face fellow SSC foe sixth-seed Florida Tech in the bottom half of the bracket. Third-seed Valdosta State will match up with Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion, sixth seed Fort Valley State.
The postseason bid is the 12th in Rollins history and will be the third time the Tars are the top seed. The event was hosted in Winter Park one other time with Rollins finishing runner-up in 2004. The Tars were last in the NCAA Tournament field in 2009 as the No. 4 seed, falling to Arkansas-Monticello in the quarterfinals.
Rollins heads into tournament play 24-5 and has posted six wins over teams in the field of 64. The Tars beat Florida Southern twice during the year and also have victories over Florida Tech, Holy Family, Wisconsin-Parkside and Johnson C. Smith.
