WINTER PARK, Fla. – Sophomore rower Michelle Sosa was named to 2010 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association All-American Team for her efforts throughout the season, the organization recently announced.

The 2009 Sunshine State Conference Rower of the Year, Sosa picked up where she left off with her first All-American honor, and the first for the program since Kim Lucy earned the honor in 2007.  With one of the top erg times, Sosa has been the Tars’ elite rower, despite just two years into the program.

Sosa led Rollins to seven varsity four victories and claimed a third place finish at the Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia, Pa.; the first time in over 20 years the Tars earned a medal in the race.  A leader by example, Sosa is constantly one of the hardest workers on the team and has a tremendous work ethic.
