ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (October 22, 2016) – The Tars filled the stat sheet, but not the back of the net, falling 2-1 to the Flagler Saints.  Rollins falls to 7-6-1 on the year, and stands at 3-4-1 in the Sunshine State Conference.  Flagler improves to 5-6-1, while remaining 4-2-0 in Peach Belt Conference play.

Rollins outshot the Saints 19 to nine, putting 11 shots on target versus Flagler’s four.  Rollins created opportunities from set pieces as well, winning 10 corners, while the Saints only earned two.  Alexis Martinez tallied the Tars' only goal on the night, burying a loose ball in the 78th minute.  Drew Trautmann made two saves in 90 minutes of action.

The Saints got goals from Samba Diop and Pedro Silva.  Diop and Cameron Silbar registered assists on the Flagler scores.  Lex Craggs played huge for the Saints in goal, tallying 10 saves, while facing 19 shots.

·      This is only the Tars second out of conference loss of the year, the only other defeat came at the hands of now No. 1 Wingate, on September 3; Rollins will conclude it’s nonconference schedule with Embry-Riddle on October 29.
·      Martinez's goal moves the senior into third on the team with four goals, and 11 points on the year.
·      Flagler slowed the game down, committing twice as many fouls as the Tars, 14 for the Saints, and seven for Rollins; Flagler also went in the book twice, picking up two yellow cards.
